On Saturday night the action shifted to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) for another $2,000-to-win program. In his heat race Jordon finished in the sixth position, which earned him the ninth starting spot for the feature. He would cross the finish line in the eleventh position. March 31st, 2012 - Saturday night found the team traveling to Malden Speedway (Malden, Missouri) as they looked forward to finally getting to complete a Goodyear USCS Sprint Car event that had been delayed twice by rain. Thirty-one cars entered the event, and the night started great for the team as Jordon won the dash over a talented field of competitors! In heat race action he started seventh on the grid before receiving contact from behind, which caused him to spin. After tagging the tail of the field he would fail to advance to a transfer spot to March 30th, 2012 - Mother Nature finally allowed Jordon to return to action on Friday night as he took part in a
March 17th, 2012 - After seeing Mother Nature force the postponement of the Goodyear USCS Sprint Car event at Malden Speedway (Malden, Missouri), the team decided to enter a Weekly Racing Series Event at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday night. A stellar field of 31 Sprint Cars entered the program, and Mallett would draw a big number at the pill draw, which left him starting seventh in the fourth heat race. After not making up much ground in his heat, Jordon was relegated to a b-main, where he started in the fourth position. With the top cars in the b-main moving onto the feature, mechanical issues would relegate him to a fifth place finish, ending his night early. Full results are available at www.I-30Speedway.com.
January 28th, 2012 - Jordon attended the Goodyear USCS Sprint Car banquet on Saturday, January 28th in The team has also announced that they will contend for the 2012 Goodyear USCS Sprint Car National Championship. The schedule for the series has been added to the Tour page, and Jordon will open his 2012 campaign at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday, March 3rd. . When not competing on the tour, Mallett will enter various regional races.
October 29th, 2011 - Jordon entered the 24th Annual COMP Cams Short Track Nationals at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Thursday night as 51 cars registered for action. Heat race action found Mallett advancing from the back of the pack to a fifth place finish, which earned him the second starting spot for a qualifier. Before the qualifier could be run, rain set in forcing the balance of the event to be postponed until Friday evening. When the event resumed on Friday, Mallett's qualifier would be the first event to take to the track, and he would claim the win. His point's total between heat race and qualifier action locked him into the 11th starting spot for the 25 lap, preliminary feature. In the feature he would record a 16th place finish. His finish locked him into the 12th starting spot in a b-main on Saturday night. However, after the completion of the preliminary feature, the team noted that the engine block had a severe crack, and as a result he was forced to scratch from the remainder of the weekend. Even though it was a disappointing way to end the weekend, the team was still pleased with their performance in the biggest event of the season. October 15th, 2011 - The team was in action on Saturday night in the Clayhill Nationals at Clayhill Motorsports (Atwood, Tennessee) with the Goodyear USCS Sprint Car Series. The night started well for Mallett as he won his heat race over Jerod Hull, which marked the third time that he has won his heat race in as many events. Via his heat performance he started on the pole for the feature, and he led the first circuit before Hull passed him for the lead on the second lap. Mallett would hold down the second position until lap 12 when Terry Gray raced past him for the spot. A few laps later Mallett would jump the cushion allowing a few cars to slip past. He would recover over the remainder of the event to register a fifth place finish behind race winner, Hull, Justin Carver, Terry Gray, and Brian Bell. For his efforts Jordon received several accolades including the Engler Machine & Tool Award for winning the first heat race, the K&N Pole Award for the feature, and the Keizer Wheels Top 5 Award for his feature finish. October 1st, 2011 - Jordon made the trek to Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) on Saturday night for the annual Fall Nationals at the 1/4 mile, bullring. A field of 31 Sprint Cars entered the $3,000-to-win event, and heat race action found Jordon winning his heat from the pole position to lock into the third starting spot for the main event. In the caution-plagued feature, Mallett would run second for the first half of the race before slipping to a fourth place finish late in the event behind race winner, Tim Crawley, Ernie Ainsworth, and Dale Howard. September 24th, 2011 - Jordon entered the 4th Annual Ralph Henson Memorial on Saturday night at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) as 32 Sprint Cars registered for the $2,000-to-win event. Heat race action would find Mallett short of locking into the feature, as a result he was forced to run a b-main, which he won. Via the b-main win Jordon started 17th in the feature. September 17th, 2011 - After losing both of the weekend's scheduled Goodyear USCS events at Beebe Speedway (Beebe, Arkansas) and Malden Speedway (Malden, Missouri) to rain, the team entered a Weekly Racing Series Event at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) on Saturday night. A talent-laden field of 29 competitors entered the program at the 1/4 mile oval, and after a poor pill draw he started tenth on the grid for his heat race. Despite starting deep in the pack, he would advance five spots to a fifth place finish to lock into the ninth starting spot for the 20 lap feature. September 10th, 2011 - Saturday night found Jordon in action in a Weekly Racing Series Event at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) as 25 cars entered the event. After starting fifth in the third heat race Mallett advanced to a third place finish. His heat race performance earned him the ninth starting spot in the main event. September 3rd, 2011 - The team concluded their Labor Day weekend on Saturday night at Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee) with a $2,000-to-win, Goodyear USCS Sprint Car event at the wicked fast, 1/3 mile high banks. Twenty cars were on hand for the program, and after starting his heat race in tenth he would rocket to a 4th place finish, which resulted in him accumulating more passing points than any other driver. However, the invert for the feature would cause him to start 6th. September 2nd, 2011 - Jordon made the long trek to Boyds Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) for the first time ever on Friday night for a $2,000-to-win, Goodyear USCS Sprint Car event. Twenty-two Sprinters entered the event on the 1/4 mile, clay oval, and in heat race action Mallett would start on the pole. After a spirited battle for the lead, Mallett would finish in the second position to lock into the seventh starting spot for the main event. August 27th, 2011 - After a one week break, the team was back to action at their home track, I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas), on Saturday night in a $3,000-to-win, unsanctioned event. Thirty-eight Sprint Cars entered the program, and Jordon would start the night by blasting to his heat race win to lock into the eighth starting spot for the main event. The team was excited about their chances for the feature, but their hopes would quickly be dashed as a torsion bar failure on his #14 Sprinter resulted in him retiring to a disappointing 19th place finish. August 13th, 2011 - Saturday night found the team at Clayhill Motorsports (Atwood, Tennessee) for another $2,000-to-win, Goodyear USCS Sprint Car event. Eighteen cars were on hand, and after finishing sixth in his heat, he started 12th on the grid or the 30 lap feature. August 12th, 2011 - After a few weeks away from the track due to an illness, Jordon was finally able to return to action on Friday night at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama) in a $2,000-to-win, Goodyear USCS Sprint Car event. Twenty-one cars entered the event, and in heat race action, Mallett would finish in the 3rd position to earn the 10th starting spot for the 30 lap feature. He would battle around midpack for the duration of the event on the fast, 1/3 mile oval, and when the checkered flag dropped he was credited with a 9th place finish. July 16th, 2011 - The team made the trip to Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) on Saturday night for a Weekly Racing Series Event as 19 cars signed in for battle. In his heat race he started on the pole and led the duration of the event with Zach Pringle in pursuit. In the final corner of the final lap, the leaders were in heavy lapped traffic when Pringle and Ernie Ainsworth slipped by to relegate Mallett to a third place finish. As a result of finishing third in his heat, Jordon started sixth on the grid for the main event on the gumbo oval. During the first half of the race, Mallett would work his way to the third position, and he would run there until the final lap, when he slipped one spot to a fourth place finish behind race winner, Derek Hagar, Casey Rowland, and Ernie Ainsworth. The team was very excited as it was Jordon's best career finish at Riverside International Speedway, which gives them something to build on for the future. July 9th, 2011 - The team returned to their home track, I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas), for a Weekly Racing Series Event on Saturday night. With a solid field of 28 cars entered, the evening would get off to a good start for Mallett as he drew the second starting spot for his heat race. However, mechanical gremlins would strike in hot laps as the engine would not run properly, and he had to exit the track before completing any green flag laps. He would battle the issues during heat race action, while still managing to finish third. Via his heat performance, Jordon started ninth on the grid for the feature, but would have to retire early in the feature as the mechanical woes continued to plague him. July 3rd, 2011 - The weekend concluded on Sunday night at Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tennessee) with another USCS Goodyear Sprint Car event as 19 cars signed in for battle. Via preliminary action, Mallett would earn the 10th starting spot for the main event, and would advance two spots to record an 8th place finish at the checkered flag. July 2nd, 2011 - Saturday night found Mallett Motorsports at Thunderhill Speedway (Summertown, Tennessee) for the first time. Twenty Sprinters entered the event, and heat race action saw Mallett move from the seventh starting spot to a fifth place finish, which left him starting tenth in the feature. July 1st, 2011 - On Friday night the team opened a triple header weekend with the Goodyear USCS Sprint Car tour at Malden Speedway (Malden, Missouri). Twenty-three cars entered the event and after advancing from the eighth starting spot to a sixth place finish in his heat, to earn the 16th starting spot for the main event. June 25th, 2011 - Jordon got a rare chance in 2011 to compete at his home track, I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas), due to a week off from the Goodyear USCS tour. With twenty cars entered into the event on the high-banked, 1/4 mile oval, the nigh would start slowly for the team as mechanical issues in his heat race forced him to surrender the third position late in the race. June 18th, 2011 - After a week away from the track to recover from the busy Goodyear USCS Sprint Car Speedweek, the team made the trip to Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) on Saturday night for a Weekly Racing Series Event. With 22 Sprint Cars entered the night started with Mallett finishing second in his heat race to earn the fifth starting spot for the 20 lap feature. Despite starting near the front of the pack Jordon continued to battle to find the handle on his #14 Sprinter at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) as he slipped to an 11th place finish at the checkered flag. Full results are available at www.RiversideInternationalSpeedway.com. June 4th, 2011 - Jordon concluded the 2011 Goodyear USCS Speedweek on Saturday night at Moulton Speedway (Moulton, Alabama). After starting seventh in his heat, Mallett jumped the cushion and climbed the wall, which caused the shifter to break off the rear end, which dumped all the rearend grease. In addition he cut the right front tire down, which left the team making heavy repairs for the feature event, where he started in the 16th position. The track would quickly take rubber in the main event, but Mallett still managed to make his way to the 8th spot by the time that the caution flew for a series of flat rear tires. With just five laps remaining, Mallett would become the next victim as his right rear expired. Despite announcing that drivers would be granted two courtesy laps, Jordon would not get any laps to repair his flat tire. As a result, he was credited with a thirteenth place finish. Jordon finished eighth in the final standings for the Goodyear USCS Sprint Car Speedweek. June 3rd, 2011 - Jordon was in action with the Goodyear USCS Sprint Car tour on Thursday night at the 1/4 mile oval at Beebe Speedway (Beebe, Arkansas) as 21 cars entered the event. In heat race action Mallett advanced from his fourth starting spot to finish second, locking him into the seventh starting spot for the main event. Jordon would run in the top ten for the duration of the event before making contact with the tire wall with just three laps to go. Somehow Mallett would keep his entry from flipping, and he would recover to finsh 11th. June 2nd, 2011 - Jordon was featured on Arkansas Channel 11 News in a preview for the Thursday night USCS Sprint Car event at Beebe Speedway (Beebe, Arkansas). Click HERE to view it. May 30th, 2011 - Mallett Motorsports closed out the first leg of the Goodyear USCS Sprint Car Speedweek on Monday night at Clayhill Motorsports (Atwood, Tennessee). May 29th, 2011 - Round #2 of the 2011 Goodyear USCS Sprint Car tour was held on Sunday night at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi). Twenty-one cars entered the event, and in heat race action Jordon would charge from the 6th starting position to a 3rd place finish. Via his heat performance, Mallett started fifth on the grid for the feature and would run in the third position for the majority of the feature before slipping to fifth during a series of late race cautions. May 28th, 2011 - Jordon entered the 2011 Goodyear USCS Sprint Car Speedweek opener at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) on Saturday night as 33 Sprint Cars entered the $2,500 to win event at the 1/4 mile oval. Via preliminary action, Mallett would earn the 22nd starting spot for the 30 lap feature event. Mallett would go on to race his way to a 16th place finish in the final rundown. May 27th, 2011 - After having a rough outing in his late race, Jordon Mallett returned to action on Friday night with the Goodyear USCS Sprint Car tour at Tennessee National Raceway (Hohenwald, Tennessee) as he looked to get his season back on track. Twenty-three Sprint Cars were on hand for the $2,000 to win event, and in heat race action he advanced one spot from his sixth starting spot to record a fifth place finish, which left him starting 12th in the 30 lap feature. During the course of the event, he would advance to a solid 7th place finish as he prepares to tackle the 2011 Goodyear USCS Speedweek, which starts at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) on Saturday night. May 21st, 2011 - The team returned to Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) on Saturday night for the 1st Annual Hooker Hood Classic on what would prove to be another trying night for the team. A solid field of 35 Sprint Cars entered the $3,000 to win event, and in heat race action, Jordon would find himself slipping backwards with an ill-handling car. As a result of his heat race struggles he would be forced to run a b-main, and in the b-main, he came just short of earning a transfer spot to the feature, which brought his night to an early end. May 14th, 2011 - After seeing both weekend Goodyear USCS Sprint Car events in Tennessee nixed by rain, Jordon enter a Weekly Racing Series Event at his home track, I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday night. A stout field of 30 Sprint Cars entered the event and Jordon would start seventh in his heat race before advancing to a fifth place finish to lock into the main event in the 15th starting spot. Early in the race, Mallett would pass several cars, but as the race wore on the handling on his #14 entry would start to fade, and he would slip to a 14th place finish. May 7th, 2011 - The team originally planned to take part in the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car event slated for Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) on Saturday night, however series' officials would postpone the event due to travel difficulties due to flooding. The track still hosted a Weekly Racing Series Event, and the team made the trip over to take part in it. A strong field of 24 Sprint Cars were on hand, and Jordon would spend most of the night chasing the setup on the #14 Mallett Motorsports/GF1 Chassis. In the feature, he would start in the 15th starting spot, and had advanced a few spots early in the event before a caution sent him to the back of the pack. April 30th, 2011 - Jordon was slated to travel to Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) for a Weekly Racing Series Event on Saturday night, but an unfavorable forecast forced the event to be canceled. April 23rd, 2011 - Jordon was back in action at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday night in Weekly Racing Series Event in what would prove to be a great night for the young driver. Mallett started his heat in the 6th position and finished 3rd, which gave him a great starting spot for the feature. In the feature he ran 2nd for a majority of the event, but with just a few laps remaining the jacob's ladder broke after minor contact with the wall. Despite the damage to his mount he would go on to maintain the second spot for the closing laps, and that's where he finished behind race winner, Zach Pringle. The second place finish matched his best career finish, and gives the team some definite momentum heading into the upcoming events. April 16th, 2011 - Saturday night found the team starting fresh at I-30 Speedway with the second night of the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car doubleheader. Forty-four Sprint Cars entered the event, and for the second straight night passing points would leave Mallett short of qualifying for the main event. As a result, he started fourth in his b-main event and would see his chances of qualifying for the feature disappear as he faded to an 8th place finish in the b-main, which left him short of a transfer to the feature and brought his night to an early end. Jordon has also decided to contest for Rookie of the Year honors with the Goodyear USCS Mid-South Region and will be running all of those events. April 15th, 2011 - Returning to action after a week hiatus, Jordon entered the opening night of the Lucas Oil ASCS doubleheader at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Friday night. Forty-three cars entered the event, and Jordon would find himself falling short of transferring to the feature via heat race action. As a result, he would be relegated to a b-main event, where he started on the front row. On the first lap he would be shuffled back several spots, but as the race progressed he began to recover and advance through the field. He would reach the fifth position by the time that the checkered flag flew, but with only the top three cars moving onto the main event, his night would come to an early end. April 2nd, 2011 - After seeing the weekend's scheduled event in Oklahoma nixed by Mother Nature, Jordon made the trek to Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday night for a Goodyear USCS Sprint Car event. In heat race action, Jordon would finish fourth, which left him starting 15th on the grid for the feature event at the lightning fast, 1/3 mile oval. The young Arkansas driver would go on to advance seven spots during the course of the main event to an 8th place finish at the checkered flag. April 1st, 2011 - Mallett Motorsports was slated to take part in the ASCS Sooner Region opener on Saturday night at Mid-America Speedway (South Coffeyville, Kansas). However, heavy rains during the week forced the event to be postponed until May 21st. As a result, Jordon will be in action on Saturday night at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) in an USCS Sprint Car event. March 19th, 2011 - Jordon debuted his new #14 Mallett Motorsports/GF1 Chassis by Ti22 Performance on Saturday night in Goodyear USCS Sprint Car Series action at Malden Speedway (Malden, Missouri). Twenty-nine Sprint Cars entered the event on a night where the team spent much of the night learning the setup and handling on the new car. After falling short of transferring to the feature from heat race action, Jordon would record a fifth place finish in the b-main to earn the 21st starting spot for the $2,000 to win finale. In the feature, Mallett would run a clean race as he raced his way to a 15th place finish at the checkered flag. March 18th, 2011 - Jordon is opening his 2011 season this weekend in his #14 Mallett Motorsports/Ti22/McCarver Racing Engine Sprint Car at Malden Speedway (Malden, MO) in Goodyear USCS Sprint Car competition. January 7th, 2011 - Happy New Years from everyone at Mallett Motorsports. Jordon received some very exciting news today. He has been selected to be a team driver for GF1 Chassis producted By Ti22 Performance in Pennsylvania. 234 entries from over 27 states and 4 countries were received for the competition, and the company picked 28 teams, 7 from the 4 regions. The team is honored to be chosen, and Jordon looks forward to a successful season behind the wheel of a GF1 Chassis!
